Dave Stefan serves as Vice President of The Midtown Group and is one of Washington, D.C.'s premiere professional career consultants. With nearly a decade of recruiting experience, Dave is consistent in his ability to match the right candidate with the staffing needs of a company. He began his career working as a pharmaceutical sales representative with Abbott Laboratories, where he quickly learned the value of building a strong client-customer relationship. Armed with an entrepreneurial spirit and an unyielding capacity for understanding the human resources dynamic, Dave transitioned into the arena of professional recruiting, where he quickly developed a strong network of candidates and partnerships with some of the city’s finest organizations. His experience combined with his fortitude enable him to meet staffing challenges head-on. On one occasion, he and his team readily accomplished the challenge of placing 75 candidates in just a four-day time frame. His goodwill contributions extend well beyond the office. His passion for social responsibility is evident by his commitment to supporting Hoop Dreams, a DC-based charity that helps send underprivileged high school students to college.

In addition, Dave lends his support to another local organization, Rachael’s Women’s Center, whose mission is to provide homeless and formerly homeless women with opportunities to develop their independence. Dave graduated from the University of Maryland with a BA in Political Science and minor in marketing.
